Recently there has been a lot of hullabaloo about 5G and it is expected to be introduced in the market very soon. Possibly in the coming year we may get to experience this roaring benefit. While expectations for technologies associated with internet are sky high let’s see some of the some of the major benefits of 5G over 4G and how it is beneficial for us.
Speed acceleration: The highest speed of 4G runs around max 100 Mbps per second with a download speed of 50 Mbps. However, the new 5G is supposed to make hundreds of steps further from this data speed. Latest 5G speed tests tops out at 10 gigabits per second (Gbps). With this change 5G is a revolutionary road-path and not a slight upgrade from 4G.
However, to expect the reality of 5G, it requires a considerable field testing.
The 5G has been essentially divided into three categories called as:
- Enhanced Mobile Broadband or handsets
- Ultra-Reliable Low-Latency Communications
- Massive Machine Type Communications
One thing is pretty clear that, 5G is going to be a big drop as compared to any previous generations. With the introduction of fresh aspects like sub-6GHz, mmWave and NB-IoT 5G is becoming the next big sensation.
